Galen Rupp

Galen Rupp is an American cross-country and track and field athlete, who competed for the University of Oregon and currently trains under Alberto Salazar as a member of the Oregon Track Club. Rupp competed for his native country in the men's 10000 m at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China, finishing in 13th place. He is the current American record holder at 10,000 m with a time of 26:48.00. He is only the second non-African to break the 27-minute barrier in the 10,000 m behind compatriot Chris Solinsky.

Lopez Lomong is a South Sudanese-born American track and field athlete. Lomong, one of the Lost Boys of Sudan, came to the United States at the age of 16 and became a U.S. citizen in 2007. His real birthdate is January 5, 1985, but like all Lost Boys who came to the United States without paperwork, his official birthday is listed as January. Lomong qualified for 2008 Summer Olympics in the 1500 meters at the United States Olympic track and field trials in Eugene, Oregon. He was the flag bearer for the United States during the 2008 Summer Olympics Opening Ceremony.

Bernard Lagat

Bernard Kipchirchir Lagat is a Kenyan-American middle and long distance champion athlete.Lagat was born in Kapsabet, Kenya. Prior to his change of domicile to the USA, Lagat had an extensive competitive career representing his native country.He is the American record holder in the 1500m, 3000m, and 5000m indoors, as well as the 1500m, 3000m, and 5000m outdoors, and is the Kenyan record holder at 1500m outdoors.Lagat, now a Kenyan American, was born in Kaptel village, near Kapsabet town in Nandi District. He is a Nandi, sub-tribe of the Kalenjin people.

Andrew Wheating

Andrew "Andy" Wheating is an American middle-distance track athlete. Wheating competed for the United States in the men's 800 m at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. He is a professional runner for Nike. Wheating was born in 1987, the son of Justin and Betsy Wheating. His father, born in South Africa, was a field hockey player. Wheating ran two seasons of cross country and one season of track during his stay at Kimball Union Academy. During his first season of track in his senior year, he burst onto the track scene, ranking fourth nationally with a time of 3:54.28 in the 1500 meters.

Leonel Manzano

Leonel "Leo" Manzano is a Mexican American middle-distance track and field athlete. He represented the United States in the 1500 meters at the 2008 Summer Olympics and the World Championships in Athletics in 2009 and 2011. Born in Mexico, Manzano moved with family to Texas at the age of four. He was raised in Granite Shoals, Texas, and excelled at Marble Falls High School, where he won a total of nine Texas 4A state championships in track and cross country. Manzano recorded prep bests of 1:50 minutes (800 m), 4:06 (1600 m), and 9:07 (3200 m).

Matthew Centrowitz

Matthew Centrowitz is a two-time Olympic distance runner, a four-time United States champion, a collegiate All-American, a nationally renowned high school athlete, and a collegiate cross country and track coach. He is 6 feet 1 inch (186 cm) tall and weighs 170 pounds (77 kg). Matt Centrowitz was born in New York, New York USA. Nicholas Symmonds

Nicholas "Nick" Symmonds is an American middle-distance track athlete from Boise, Idaho, specializing in the 800 meters and 1500 meters distances. In college at Willamette University he won seven NCAA Division III titles in outdoor track. In 2007, he won the 800 m race at the Prefontaine Classic. On June 30, 2008, Symmonds won the 800 m run at the U.S. Olympic Trials in Eugene, Oregon, in 1:44.10 and qualified for the 2008 Summer Olympics team. Symmonds won his Round 1 - Heat 4 race with 1:46:01, but failed to qualify in the semifinals run on 21 August 2008.

Duane Solomon is an American Track and field athletics competitor, primarily known for the 800 metres. He ran for his home country in the 2007 IAAF World Championships. He also took the gold medal at the North American, Central American and Caribbean Under 23 Championships in 2006. In 2010, he made his third international team by finishing second in the USA Indoor Track and Field Championships. Khadevis Robinson is an American middle distance runner who specializes in the 800 metres. His personal best time is 1:43.68 minutes, achieved in August 2006 in Rieti. A four-time US champion both outdoors and indoors, he has competed at six consecutive editions of the World Championships in Athletics, from 1999 to 2009. LaShawn Merritt

LaShawn Merritt  is an American track and field athlete who competes in sprinting events, specializing in the 400 meters. He is the reigning Olympic champion over the distance and his personal best of 43.75 seconds makes him the fifth fastest of all time. In October 2010 he was suspended for 21 months for failing a doping test.He was a successful junior athlete and won the 400 m gold at the 2004 World Junior Championships in Athletics, as well as setting two world junior records in the relays. He became part of the American 4×400 meter relay team and helped win the event at the 2006 IAAF World Indoor Championships.

Tony McQuay  is an American track and field athlete who is sprinter specializing in the 400 meters. He is a member of the 2012 United States Olympic team and will compete at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. McQuay was born in Riviera Beach, Florida. He graduated from Suncoast Community High School in Riviera Beach, where he ran the 100 meters, 200 meters and 400 meters for the Suncoast Chargers track and field team. Isiah Young

Isiah Young is an American track and field athlete who competes in the sprints. He was selected to compete for the United States at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the 200-meter dash. Born in Junction City, Kansas, he attended Junction City High School then Allen Community College, competing athletically for both institutions. Young also did weightlifting during his high school years. At the 2009 USATF Junior Olympics he won a sprint double in the 100-meter dash and the 200-meter dash.He enrolled at the University of Mississippi in 2010 and took part in collegiate competition with the Ole Miss Rebels.
