Sean Michael Rooney is an American
volleyball player, who plays as an outside hitter for the U.S. national
team. He made his Olympic debut at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing,
China.Rooney was born in Wheaton, Illinois. He attended Wheaton
Warrenville South High School and was named the 2001 Illinois State
Co-Player of the Year (Greg Pochopien Carl Sandburg High School) and led
